Welcome to COLORADO
The Centennial State

Welcome to Colorado, The Centennial State. When we asked the Department of Tourism for information on Colorado, the first thing they told us was what to bring. Here’s the list: sunglasses, because of the over 300 sunny days per year; bring moisturizer, lip balm and conditioner and be prepared to drink a lot of water when you get here; bring the local colors, that is orange and blue for The Broncos, black and gold for the Colorado Buffaloes or purple and black for The Rockies; bring your mountain bike, this is Colorado’s almost official dude power vehicle; bring a roof rack, to load up your skis, snowboards, mountain bikes, kayaks, etc.; bring appropriate dress for your visit to Boulder, L.L. Bean style clothing will do; but, most of all bring your camera and camcorder to capture the gold of the Aspens in fall, the brown trout that you might catch, and your friends falling on their snowboards.

We thank you for choosing Colorado Travel Guide to plan your next vacation, and hope that your time spent in Colorado is both enjoyable and refreshing.
