Welcome to Indiana, The Hoosier State. With city lights, small towns, country roads, rolling hills, covered bridges, beaches, landmarks and history Indiana has something for everyone. Our numerous recreational opportunities include, fishing, boating, hiking, camping, hunting and skiing. You won’t want to miss the Indianapolis 500 in May. You can head north for a day at the beach and a night on the town. East to relive the days of the past, catch a professional ballgame in the Central region, have a picnic near a covered bridge in the west.

Hike the hills in the South Central area and enjoy the beauty of the rivers in the Southern region Explore Amish country in the north and take a journey into the past as well as an adventure in the present. Horse drawn buggies travel the roads and kerosene lanterns light the houses. If you’re looking for things for the kids’ visit our ME’s Zoo, the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo or the 1902 Cass County Carousel. There is the Muncie Children’s Museum and the Circus City Festival. If you have ever wondered why we’re called the Hoosier State, come and visit us we’ll give you lots of reasons.
