Welcome to Vermont, The Green Mountain State. Known for its quaint villages and landscapes Vermont is a beautiful state to visit. The Hyde Log Cabin of Grand Isle is considered the nation’s oldest log cabin still standing in its original condition. Many of Vermont’s villages and towns have a treasure of historical buildings. There are more than 70 historic districts in Vermont. With more than 100 covered bridges including the only railroad covered bridge still in use, Vermont has many attractions to see.

Visit the state capitol, where you will find 65 flags used by Vermont units during the Civil War and 14 from other wars. In the Governor’s Reception Room you will find a painting of the Civil War battle of Cedar Creek. You can enjoy historic inns, quiet lakeside cottages and excellent restaurants. There is skiing, hiking, bicycling, sailing, golfing tennis and horseback riding. Come visit Vermont and see what we have packed for fun in such a little state.
