Welcome to WYOMING
The Equality State

Welcome to Wyoming, The Equality State. Winter in Wyoming has geysers in the cold air showing off, pine trees and mountains with snow all over them and plenty of dogs during the International Rocky Mountain Stage Stop Sled Dog Race. If you visit Yellowstone National Park, you will see that the wildlife has slowed down to a pace that you can enjoy. Look at the largest herd of elk in North America at the National Elk Refuge. Beartooth Mountains offer 36 miles of groomed trails and 34 miles of ungroomed trails. There is cross-country, downhill and alpine skiing. You can check out the cultural institutions also. The Buffalo Bill Historical Center, the Wyoming Pioneer Memorial Museum and the western art collection at Bradford Brinton Memorial Museum offer lots to do when staying inside is what you want. There are plenty of historical sites to visit also. Come and see the Fort Laramie National Historic Site, Fort Bridger State Museum and the Oregon Trail Ruts Historical Site. So come on and visit us in Wyoming, we would love to have you stay a while.

We thank you for choosing Wyoming Travel Guide to plan your next vacation, and hope that your time spent in Wyoming is both enjoyable and refreshing.
